VALENCIA AIRPORT, SPAIN, JUL 25 – The pilot who removed 50 Jewish youths from a flight previously trained two 9/11 hijackers, including Mohamed Atta, according to Israel's Diaspora Affairs Ministry.
- On Wednesday, a group of around 50 Jewish children and teenagers was removed from a Vueling Airlines flight at Valencia Airport after singing traditional Hebrew songs.
- In a separate disclosure, Israel's Diaspora Affairs Ministry said the pilot had trained two of the 9/11 hijackers, including Mohamed Atta.
- Vueling said the group tampered with passenger safety equipment, posing a high risk, and called police when the children refused to stop singing.
- The children were left stranded at Valencia Airport, and a community organization provided meals and hotel accommodations, while a 21-year-old group leader was detained during the removal.
- With no resolution yet, the camp has lodged its grievance and legal scrutiny is underway, as authorities investigate the circumstances of the removal.
