Currently faced with serious financial difficulties, the Volkswagen Group is preparing a major restructuring to relaunch the machine. The German giant would consider many measures, including the removal of Seat. Information relayed by the German press, which pushed the main interested party to take the floor to clarify things.

The Spanish car brand Seat is expected to disappear from the market by the end of 2029 at the latest. Volkswagen plans to phase it out gradually, reports the weekly "Wirtschaftswoche," citing a confidential company document that the supervisory board is scheduled to discuss on Friday.
