The Russian nuclear-powered cruiser Admiral Nakhimov has put to sea for the first time since the 1990s. The ship has undergone an exceptionally long and thorough modernization, or rather reconstruction. It is now undergoing very careful static trials.
The return of Admiral Nakhimov, a 28,000-ton cruiser belonging to the Kírov class, marks a milestone in Russian naval history.
