The editorial director of Il Giornale, and regional councillor for Lombardy, during an event in Milan: “Bike paths bother me”
The editorial director of Il Giornale: “Bike paths bother me. And I'm not interested in expensive rents: I live in my house.” The dems: 'Feltri apologizes to the families of road victims'
“In Milan, what bother me are the bike paths, I like cyclists only when they are run over.” These are the words of the editorial director of Il Giornale and regional advisor of Fratelli d'Italia, Vittorio Feltri, during the event for the 50th anniversary of the same newspaper. A phrase that has triggered a storm, with all the oppositions in the Lombardy Region that are insistently demanding his removal from the Melonian party.
Sometimes Vittorio Feltri wakes up and knows he has to say something. Perhaps a statement that he thinks may be against the tide, politically incorrect. But which, on the other hand, often and willingly prove to be only unpleasant. It happened with the Sangiuliano—Boccia case, with some of his tweets on his birthday. It also happened today with the editorial director of Il Giornale who took it out on cyclists and bike paths.
