Iñaki Kerejazu remembered the victims of the massacre 50 years ago in his opening speech at the Vitoria-Gasteiz festivities. Maider Etxebarria accused him of "mixing politics and festivities", but a few hours later he backtracked and expressed his support for Kerejazu, as well as for the victims of March 3.
