Ancient suburban rail carriages to be replaced soon

As part of the railway development, 42 new HÉV multi-unit trains are arriving on the Szentendre, Ráckeve and Csepel lines. The first trains will be in service from 2030.
The necessary public procurement will be announced this year, and the first trains can be put into service from 2030.
