Chief Executive Officer Josh Bayliss came to Paris this week, where he met with Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot and some journalists to show his ambitions: besides 13 daily round trips between London and Paris, which will add 4.75 million seats a year on the link, Virgin also tables four round trips a day between London and Brussels, and three between London and Amsterdam, Bayliss said.
The British group, which has virtually no activity in France since the sale of its Megastores in 2001, plans to return by high-speed train by 2030.
