Vikings WR Justin Jefferson a full participant Thursday
Jefferson’s return gives Minnesota a healthier offense after injuries limited the Vikings to about 10 snaps with all their top playmakers.
Minnesota Vikings star receiver Justin Jefferson was a full participant in practice on Thursday, signaling his return from an ankle injury ahead of the Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Early-Season injuries to quarterback Kyler Murray and running back Jordan Mason forced the Vikings to manage their roster, with Jordan Addison and Hockenson missing time and limiting the full offensive unit to about 10 snaps together.
Despite sitting atop the NFC North, the Vikings' offense has averaged only 283 yards per game, though the team showed improvement before the bye with 336 yards against the Dolphins and 364 yards against the Saints.
Quarterback Kyler Murray expressed optimism, saying "I feel like offensively, were ascending," while running back Aaron Jones added, "We've got all the pieces there."
Jefferson stated he is "definitely looking forward to" the upcoming contest, and with the full receiving corps available, Murray emphasized, "All I have to do is go out there and complete the ball and put it in their hands.
