Vi-app-gra? Scientists develop new app that helps men last longer
The Melonga App increased ejaculation control time by 64 seconds on average and helped 22% of users stop premature ejaculation in 12 weeks, study shows.
- On Saturday, March 14, Dr. Groeben presented early CLIMACS findings on the Melonga App at the EAU congress in London.
- German-Based CLIMACS study enrolled 80 men into a 12-week programme using questionnaires and stopwatch timing to test Melonga App’s mindfulness, arousal-awareness, CBT, and physical exercises.
- Measured by stopwatch, app users' penetration-to-ejaculation time rose from 61 seconds to 125 seconds, and 22% reported no longer experiencing premature ejaculation after 12 weeks.
- The Melonga App is currently available in Ireland, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein and Belgium, and control-group participants were offered access after 12 weeks; Dr. Christer Groeben said it helps men overcome shame and improve ejaculation control.
- Final results are expected later this year; around three in 10 men are affected by premature ejaculation but only 9% seek medical help.
