Vestavia Hills standouts set AHSAA records in flag football win over Hoover

Vestavia Hills senior quarterback Julia Rose set an Alabama High School Athletic Association flag football standard with her first pass in a 48-7 win at Hoover on Tuesday. Rose found junior Alexis Rubin for a 12-yard completion to go over 10,000 yards in her career, the first flag football athlete ever to hit that mark.
