On Wednesday, Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Trey Yesavage outpitched New York Yankees starter Cam Schlittler in a 2-1 victory following a rain delay exceeding two hours.
Yesavage threw six shutout innings with eight strikeouts and two hits allowed, while 25-year-old Schlittler suffered the loss as his ERA rose to 1.50 after allowing eight hits.
