Poncle's new game reimagines Vampire Survivors with first-person dungeon exploration and card combat, launching day one on Xbox Game Pass in 2026, the first of several planned spin-offs.
- On November 20, Poncle revealed Vampire Crawlers at Xbox's Partner Preview as a Vampire Survivors follow-up coming next year to Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC with day-one Xbox Game Pass.
- Built from lessons after the original Vampire Survivors breakout, Poncle founder & CEO Luca Galante began development shortly after and spent roughly four years adding faster battles and dungeons to improve gameplay.
- The trailer shows a hybrid card battler and first-person dungeon crawler where cards can be played slowly or rapidly, featuring familiar Survivors items like the bible, whip, and garlic.
- Poncle has grown from a solo project into a team of over 20 people, and Galante says Vampire Crawlers will launch as a full launch with post-launch updates if players want more.
- Poncle says it plans to apply core pillars from Vampire Survivors to other genres and will leave it to the community to guide future spin-offs and experiments.
