Valorant's new map and mode make me want to play it again
During Valorant'sMasters London esports event on June 21, Riot Games revealed what players can expect from Act 4 of Season 2026 when it begins on June 24. The two most notable things this impending update will add are a new map called Summit and the 3v3 limited-time game mode Retake.
With Summit, Riot Games expands Valorant's card pool with a map that looks much more classic at first glance than many of its predecessors. That's exactly what could be their biggest advantage.

Riot Games revealed the next VALORANT map during VCT Masters London, set in the mountains of China. Alongside the new map comes a new mode called Retake. On June 21, VALORANT showcased Summit, a two-site, three-lane map coming to the game with V26 Act Four on June 24. Summit is set along the city in the mountains of China. Lore-wise, it’s a Radiant training facility and formerly a site of the Radiant monastery where Sage studied.
