Vallejo City Council names street after late rapper Mac Dre

Hip-hop artists, activists and community members turned out en masse Tuesday to lobby the City Council to name a street after Vallejo rapper Mac Dre. But it was a Solano County supervisor who busted a rhyme. “Honor Mac Dre, honor the Crest, honor Vallejo, honor the Bay,” said Supervisor Cassandra James to thunderous applause.
