The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took part in the 7th Summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), held on 15 October in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Speaking at the SCO summit on conflicts in Asia, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said, “Where communication slows down, the risk of making wrong decisions increases.” The president proposed creating an infrastructure of trust, responsible use of information, and partnerships in the field of climate sustainability.
The President also promoted the Asian Initiative on Technological Trust and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence at the Seventh AI Summit in Baku.
Uzbekistan President Mirziyoyev proposed the preparation of a concept for a security infrastructure in Asia at the 7th CICA Summit. Mirziyoyev also expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Gaza and called for peace in the Middle East.
