NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush held a change of command ceremony at Norfolk Naval Shipyard on June 21. Capt. Robert T. Bibeau, relieved Capt. Dave T. Pollard, to become Bush’s ninth commanding officer. Pollard had assumed command of George H.W. Bush in 2022.
