Usher Gets Wax Figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas
The figure was built over nine months by 20 studio artists and dressed to match his My Way Las Vegas residency look.
On Wednesday, The Grammy-winning singer Usher unveiled his lifelike wax figure at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, drawing widespread praise for its staggering accuracy and likeness.
20 studio artists spent nine months crafting the statue, which replicates Usher's Way Las Vegas style featuring his signature Ice Box pendant chain and Vanson Heart Skeleton Biker Jacket.
Usher joked that the figure "looks more like me than me" while admiring the artists' craftsmanship. He said the statue offers fans a glimpse of the magic from his Vegas residency.
The unveiling precedes Usher's upcoming Tour with Chris Brown, which will take over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for shows on Sept 5, 6, and 18.
While some celebrity wax renditions fail with inaccurate head molds and poor craftsmanship, this Usher figure is widely regarded as a success. It stands apart among the best celebrity wax figures produced.
