USEReady Powers Chemille™ - An AI-Driven Digital Assistant for Intelligent Materials Discovery at Celanese

On February 27, 2026, USEReady announced support for Celanese's launch of Chemille, an AI-powered digital assistant designed to simplify and accelerate materials discovery for engineers and designers.
Celanese and USEReady developed Chemille, which was built through close collaboration and launched last April, combining over 100 years of Celanese polymer-science knowledge.
Technically, USEReady implemented lexical and semantic retrieval plus a custom domain-specific NER model, unit normalization and an explainable ranking layer to interpret complex queries and provide contextual material recommendations.
Design engineers can now query the Celanese engineered materials portfolio by natural language and use specification-driven searches, resource library with case studies, and 24/5 Live Chat with engineers to save time and reduce design risk.
Chemille continues to evolve as Celanese explores AI-driven uses across customer engagement, product discovery, and knowledge access, while USEReady positions the work within its Agentic AI and Decision Intelligence offerings.
