The Iranian-backed rebels have kept up a steady drumbeat of attacks in the Red Sea on commercial shipping despite a U.S. campaign to stop them.

The targeted bombing targeted military installations in the vicinity of Sana ' a, capital of Yemen.

The incident occurred after the US carried out a series of airstrikes on Sanaa.
