U.S. gymnast Jordan Chiles could lose bronze medal after sports arbitration officials rule on appeal
U.S. Olympic bronze medalist Jordan Chiles may lose her medal after the Court of Arbitration for Sport ruled against her appeal regarding the women's floor exercise final.
The court stated that the U.S. team's score challenge came four seconds after the deadline, reinstating Chiles' original score.
The CAS ordered the finishing order restored, placing Romania's Ana Barbosu third, with USA Gymnastics expressing they were "devastated" by the ruling.
