Armada Agreement with United States Department of Energy to Accelerate Genesis Mission
Armada’s modular data centers deliver GPU-rich sovereign compute to accelerate AI research, supporting DOE’s goal to double U.S. scientific productivity within a decade.
- Armada has entered a Memorandum of Understanding to become an official collaborator on the Genesis Mission, and Dan Wright, Co‑Founder and CEO of Armada, attended the White House event on Dec 18.
- The Genesis Mission centers on three national imperatives: accelerating discovery science, securing American energy dominance, and strengthening national security, DOE said.
- Using Galleon modular data centers, Armada can deliver megawatts of GPU-dense, sovereign compute to laboratory sites in months, and the Armada Edge Platform enables GPU-as-a-Service for flexible, high-utilization access.
- Armada signaled commitment when Wright said, `We are excited to collaborate with the Department of Energy and contribute to the Genesis Mission`, as DOE aims to rapidly increase compute capacity across national labs.
- The program builds on prior DOE-industry collaborations at Argonne and Los Alamos National Laboratories and will target AI model applications in nuclear energy, quantum computing, robotics, and supply chain.
