The U.S. embassy in Somalia has warned Americans that they are tracking “credible information” regarding potentially imminent terror attacks “against multiple locations in Somalia including Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport,” officials said.
Turkish Airlines Suspends Flights to Somalia
Turkish Airlines has suspended its daily flights to the Somali capital Mogadishu on Wednesday for reasons pertaining to the security alert issued by U.S. Embassy. The Airline informed all passengers that inbound and outbound flights were cancelled effective from 4 March to 12 March, 2025. In the security alert, U.S. Embassy said that the terrorist group may conduct attacks targeting airports.
