(Cairo=Yonhap News) Correspondent Kim Sang-hoon = Bloomberg reported on the 1st (local time) that Iran was unable to load any crude oil onto tankers last month due to the aftermath of the U.S. naval blockade.
In September 2026, Iran did not load any tankers with oil. This is the first such case recorded since the beginning of the conflict between Tehran and Washington.
Iran's oil exports are currently falling to zero, as confirmed by three different data providers.
Iran has been unable to refuel oil tankers at its ports at all in September due to the US blockade, according to satellite data compiled by Bloomberg and the analysis firms Kpler and Vortexa.
