Update: Weather alert affecting Eastern Clinton and Eastern Essex until Thursday afternoon

An updated special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 9:18 a.m. until 1 p.m. for Eastern Clinton and Eastern Essex.“Rain has mostly lifted out of the area this morning, but freezing drizzle and or mist remain in place. As temperatures drop sharply, roads are likely to become slippery. Motorists are advised to use caution throughout the day,” states the weather service.
