On Sunday at 9:09 a.m. an updated lake effect snow warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 1 p.m. for Warren, McKean and Elk counties."Heavy lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 5 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph," explains the weather service. "The blowing and drifting snow will make it a challenge to keep roads cleared."
