Lightning sparks batch of new wildfires in Cariboo region

QUESNEL, B.C. — A lightning storm that moved through the Cariboo region has lit a batch of new wildfires east of Quesnel. Fire Information Officer Hannah Chabot of the BC Wildfire Service says the majority of the fires have been discovered either Tuesday or Wednesday.
