Noida Unrest: Uttar Pradesh Govt Panel Holds Late-Night Talks as Workers Push for Rs 20,000 Minimum Wage
The interim rates take effect from April 1 after more than 1,000 workers protested for three days over wage revision demands, officials said.

- Protests turned violent in Noida, particularly in Phase-2 and Sector 60, where workers blocked roads and set a vehicle on fire, causing traffic disruptions.
- Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Medha Roopam stated, "The wage increase has been done by the high-powered committee." She added the decision was approved late last night.
- In Gautam Buddh Nagar and Ghaziabad, unskilled workers will now earn Rs 13,690, while semi-skilled and skilled workers will receive Rs 15,059 and Rs 16,868 respectively, effective from April 1.
