CREEK COUNTY — Several Creek County leadership positions may be filled automatically following the statutory filing period, as a number of candidates filed unopposed. Oklahoma election law designates any unopposed candidate become an elected official by default unless a valid contest of candidacy is filed within a certain timeframe from candidate filing closure.
