The company managing the Rogla ski resort and the spa Terme Zreče will be acquired by a Slovenian private equity fund, which has promised to undertake major investments. The resort and the spa in the Pohorje area have so far been ran by Unitur, the tourism arm of Unior, the state-owned tool maker and automotive supplier which is based in Zreče. Slovenian company Advance Capital Partners has signed an agreement with Zrece-based Unior to acquire tourism company Unitur. Its investment fund will also take over Unitur's financial liabilities. The transaction is expected to be completed by autumn at the latest, as the deal still needs to be approved by the Competition Protection Agency.
