Ameriška letalska družba United Airlines bo prihodnje leto povezala letališči Brnik in Newark ter tako prvič po 36 letih obnovila neposredno povezavo med Ljubljano in New Yorkom. Neposredni poleti bodo od 12. may med mestoma na voljo štirikrat na teden.

After more than three decades, it will once again be possible to fly non-stop from Ljubljana Airport to New York. American airline United Airlines will establish a regular connection between Ljubljana and Newark Airport on May 12, 2027, thus restoring a direct flight connection between the Slovenian capital and the Big Apple for the first time in 36 years.
Slovenia will once again have a direct regular flight connection with New York after more than three decades. American airline United Airlines will start flying between Newark Airport and Ljubljana in May next year. It will fly the route four times a week with a wide-body Boeing 767-400ER aircraft.
