FITUR 2026 to Boost Business Opportunities Between the Tourism Sectors of the United States and Spain
FITUR 2026 will feature over 40 U.S. companies and increased air connectivity, supporting the 11.2% rise in U.S. visitors to Spain in 2024, says Turespaña.
- The United States will field one of its strongest representations at FITUR 2026, which runs 21 to 25 January at IFEMA MADRID, with a major presence of over 40 companies.
- Turespaña data show U.S. arrivals rose 11.2% in 2024 to 4.3 million, and Spain views U.S. tourists as a priority due to their high average spending.
- Major U.S. delegations including Visit USA Spain, Visit Florida, Visit Lauderdale, Explore Louisiana and Visit Orlando will attend alongside over 40 companies including Hilton, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and All-Inclusive by Marriott Bonvoy plus travel-tech firms Cloudbeds, ESCALABEDS and RateHawk.
- The fair is large—drawing 156 countries and more than 250,000 attendees, organisers say FITUR will highlight the growing U.S. market importance for Spain and foster business links.
- Stronger air links and a three-way commercial presence expand FITUR's strategic role, with almost 1.3 million seats and more than 5,000 operations, reflecting increased connectivity.
