Yangon, November 21 The United Nations has adopted a draft resolution on the Myanmar issue, condemning the Myanmar military’s sham elections, which have been marred by human rights violations and lack of participatory democracy. The draft resolution, A/C.3/80/L.32/Rev. 1, was submitted to the Third Committee of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations Headquarters in the United States on November 19.
