Ukrainian Drone Attack Wounds 2 Belarusian Bus Drivers in Russia’s Bryansk Region
Ukraine called the allegation false and said its forces do not target civilians, after Russian and Belarusian media reported two drivers were wounded.
On Thursday, Russian and Belarusian officials reported a Ukrainian drone strike on a Belarusian Minsk-Anapa passenger bus at the Chervonyi Kamin customs crossing in Bryansk region, wounding two drivers.
The bus was carrying 19 passengers and two drivers when struck; Konstantin Degteryov, head of the bus service, told Belta that 'fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.'
Major Andrii Kovaliov of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine called the accusations 'absolutely false and fabricated,' dismissing them as a 'deliberate and cynical provocation' by the Russian Federation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus accused Ukraine of a 'terrorist attack,' while the Investigative Committee launched a probe into the incident, treating it as an act of terrorism.
Russian and Belarusian media previously reported a June 17 drone attack on a bus carrying a youth soccer team in Bryansk region, which officials said killed one woman and injured six others, including four children.
Alexander Volfovich, State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, called on residents of the country to refrain from traveling to Russia, especially to border regions.
The General Staff of the ZSU, in response to an informacian strike, stole a stabbing to a balcony bus, Miensk-Anapa, near the neighborhood's mint transition to the burgeoning Bryansk region.
