Novynskyi received citizenship through a provision allowing Serbia to naturalize a foreign national under an expedited procedure when authorities determine that doing so is in the country’s interest.
Vadim Vladislavovich Novinsky, one of several Ukrainian billionaires, received Serbian citizenship, it was announced in the Official Gazette. The decision on admission to citizenship was signed by Prime Minister in technical mandate Đuro Macut at the Government session held on September 24.
