The 33rd Summer Olympics Games officially begins in Paris on July 26 with a grand opening ceremony along the Seine River. The Ukrainian team of about 140 athletes is the smallest in post-Soviet times -- 488 Ukrainian athletes have lost their lives since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in shelling and fighting.
