Ukraine's Minister of Finance, Sergii Marcenko, calls for an additional €32.6 billion in EU funding for next year, under conditions in which Kiev warns that it is facing a major funding deficit. The European Commission announces that the request will be analysed, in order to intensify Russian aggression and increase Ukraine's needs.
The European Union encourages international partners, including the UK and Japan, to provide financial assistance to Ukraine. This is taking place against the background of the tense situation before winter and the growing deficit of the Ukrainian budget.
