Britain sanctioned two Russian research staffers who were involved in developing toxins from a poison dart frog that killed Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny in 2024.
The individuals and institutes were involved in the research, development and production of lethal nerve agents, such as Novichok and epibatidine, used in the poisoning of Alexei Navalny and Dawn Sturges, the Foreign Ministry said.
