In recent years, artificial intelligence has learned to converse impressively. It can write articles, program, translate or hold long debates. But that's where the problem may lie, according to one of the former OpenAI researchers. Diogo Almeida is now coming up with a model called Jev that doesn't want to be a chatbot. Instead of long answers, it should make quick and well-defined decisions that the computer can use immediately.
Jev is an AI model that communicates primarily with machines instead of people. The start-up behind it wants to make automated processes more efficient.

A new AI named Jev has just been launched by one of ChatGPT's creators (a former OpenAI employee). The new AI was not designed to talk to humans, but to provide answers to the computer code. Its answers are structured and it never hallucinates. Moreover, its operation is significantly cheaper than that of LLM (the type of AI used by ChatGPT).
