The presence of Nobel Prize laureate J. M. Coetzee, who will participate in two activities dedicated to the work of the poet Mariano Melgar, was announced.
The Hay Festival Peru returns with its XII edition and this time expands its reach, since besides the cities of Arequipa and Lima, Majes and Tacna will be part of the program. The event will be held from 5 to 8 November and will bring together 156 participants from 20 countries around literature, journalism, science, music, art, podcasts and thought.
From 5 to 8 November, the White City will dress up as a gala to welcome writers, musicians, artists and other personalities of Peruvian and international culture as part of the Hay Festival Arequipa 2026. Mircea Cartarescu, author of “Solenoid”, is one of them.
