Two Policemen Would Be Linked to the Kidnapping of a Merchant

Álvaro Antonio Páez Ortiz, 43, who was kidnapped by unknown persons while travelling to the municipality of La Playa de Belén, was rescued through an operation in coordination between the Gaula of the Police Department of Norte de Santander and the Army. Six alleged members of a common organized crime group were captured in flagrante delicto, two of whom would belong to the Metropolitan Police of Cúcuta (Mecuc).
