Bogotá. While hundreds of thousands of Colombian victims cry out for help and support to overcome the critical situation, the government of President Abelardo de la Espriella confirmed that they will only receive rescuers from allied and ideologically related countries.
Abelardo de la Espriella, the new president of the far right, initially refused international aid, before reconsidering his decision. His government declared the state of economic emergency, but without convincing of its effectiveness on the ground.
