Two people were killed in a fire that occurred in Wapakoneta Sunday night. According to a release from Wapakoneta Fire and EMS, firefighters were dispatched at around 10:15 Sunday night to 409 Park Street. Upon arrival, firefighters began battling the blaze and conducted search operations. Two victims were located inside. (3-2-26) A fire at a Wapakoneta home late Sunday night claimed the lives of two people inside. Firefighters were called to 409 Park Street at 10:13 p.m., for a report of a structure fire with three people possibly trapped inside.  The victims were all taken to Lima-area hospitals, where they were both pronounced dead.
