Twins Put RHP Bailey Ober on the 15-Day Injured List with Right Elbow Inflammation
Ober is 6-3 with a 4.59 ERA in 12 starts, and Minnesota added Travis Adams and Mike Paredes to cover more rotation injuries.
On Sunday, the Minnesota Twins placed right-hander Bailey Ober on the 15-day injured list with inflammation in his right elbow.
Minnesota's pitching staff faces significant strain, with starters Pablo Lopez, Mick Abel, and David Festa already sidelined alongside recent injuries to Kendry Rojas, Garrett Acton, and Cole Sands.
In Saturday's loss at Pittsburgh, Ober allowed seven earned runs and 12 hits in 4.2 innings, finishing with a 4.59 ERA across 12 starts this season.
To fill the roster spot, the Twins recalled Travis Adams from Triple-A and selected the contract of right-hander Mike Paredes, while optioning rookie John Klein to the Saints.
The Twins return to Target Field on Monday to begin a seven-game homestand, welcoming the Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals to town.
