The prosecutor revoked two of Marcin Romanowski's passports to prevent him from fleeing the Schengen area. "There was a need to secure further proceedings," said Piotr Nowak, spokesman for the National Prosecutor's Office. Romanowski applied for a Geneva Travel Document. If Zbigniew Ziobro also decides to seek asylum in Hungary, he may face the same fate.
The prosecutor's office has revoked two of Marcin Romanowski's passports to prevent him from traveling outside the Schengen Area, "Rzeczpospolita" has learned. According to the newspaper, the same step may be taken against Zbigniew Ziobro if he decides to seek political asylum in Hungary.
