Railway investment up 5.7% in first 10 months
China Railway said it has advanced railway planning and construction this year, accelerated the construction of the national railway network, further enhanced accessibility and coverage, and promoted high-level regional connectivity.
Turku Chief of Staff Tuomas Heikkinen was authorized to sign the shareholder agreement, which will move the project to the construction phase.
The Turku City Council has approved 130 million for the western railway. A few hours later, the matter was also finalized in Espoo. Together, they are responsible for the majority of the municipalities' financing of the project.
