Tulare County Deputies Involved in Shooting at Tulare Home
TULARE, Calif. (KFSN) — Tulare County deputies have been involved in a shooting at a home in Tulare on Wednesday. Deputies were called out to a home on Matheny and Prine around 9:30 am. They were confronted by a man in the back of the home, which led to the shooting. A confrontation involving Tulare County Sheriff's deputies began at home in a residential neighborhood on Wednesday morning during a welfare check that turned tragic.
A shooting involving a police officer was reported this morning in the 400 West Block area of Matheny around 9:30 a.m. According to the Tulare County Sheriff's Office, officers came for a welfare visit at the time of the shooting. Upon arrival, the officers met a man in the back of the house, at which time the incident was fired by the officers. This information is in development.
