Transportation Sec. Pete Buttigieg visits Tucson to talk $25M for new 22nd St. bridge

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg came to Tucson on Thursday to announce the 22nd Street bridge over Aviation Parkway and the Union Pacific Railroad will be replaced using $25 million from the $1.2 trillion Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

The $25 million grant will help expand the bridge from four to six lanes, feature a divided median and a separate bicycle and pedestrian bridge.
