Tuberculosis increases in Mexico and becomes the second most prevalent disease after influenza
The Ministry of Health has announced that cases of tuberculosis amount to 4,113 in 2025. According to the Epidemiological Bulletin, the entities with the most infections are Baja California (248), Nuevo León (233) and Veracruz (221). In the week of March 9-15 alone, 371 new infections were reported. This bacterial disease becomes the second most prevalent after influenza, which has reported a total of 6,610 cases in these first three months.
