TSA Launches Program Allowing Non-Travelers Past Security
The free program lets vetted travelers without tickets reach gates, shops and lounges after applying online one to three days ahead, TSA said.
- The Transportation Security Administration launched Gateside by TSA PreCheck, a program enabling members to clear security at select airports without flying to meet travelers at gates or access terminal dining and retail.

- Passes are valid for one calendar day and are accepted at three of the 10 busiest U.S. airports—Dallas Fort Worth International Airport , Los Angeles International Airport , and Harry Reid International Airport —requiring visitors to present identification and a digital portal dashboard.
- This centralized effort marks a departure from the limited pilot program that previously operated at Pittsburgh Airport , and officials expect the program to expand to more locations in the coming months.
