- Construction begins next month with completion slated for 2028. Paul Ingrassia, representing the General Services Administration, hailed the project as "an incredible part of this White House reimagining we."
- The project, built off 15th Street, is part of President Donald Trump's broader White House grounds overhaul, drawing bipartisan support including from appointees of Mayor Muriel Bowser.
